We celebrated the great work that the kids have been doing on Non-Fiction reading and writing today. Kids did a "gallery walk" where they walked around and read How-To PowerPoints and 5 Fast Fact Papers completed by each child. They also had a chance to comment on their classmates' work. To add to the enjoyment, kids followed directions on "How To Make Ants On A Log" so that they could prepare a special snack for themselves. We all had an excellent time!

Space Unit
Kids have been working on many different projects and activities that have helped them to learn about the Earth, moon, and the sun. One of the activities was to physically act out how the Earth orbits the sun while rotating. After we finish with our study of the moon, we will be moving on to studying the stars. Kids will have some fun things to share with you at our upcoming Open House.
